Downwards from Rinderberg via Lengebrand to St. Stephan via Alpmatten, with beautiful views of the Simmental valley.

Take the comfortable gondola ride up the Rinderberg (2,004 m) from Zweisimmen. From the mountain station the trail leads mainly downhill to the Simmental valley and Ried in St. Stephan. Along the way, alpine pastures alternate with sections of woodlands. In Lengebrand, the popular Chemistube is the perfect spot to enjoy a tasty break. Then, in Ried, take the train back to Zweisimmen.

The Destination Gstaad is located in the south-west of Switzerland right on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The Destination is easily accessed by rail or car from the regions around Lake Thun and Lake Geneva and the Gruyere region Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant journey.
