From Hornberg down the valley via Gruben to Gstaad. The marked winter hike convinces with a spectacular view.

From Saanenmöser take the gondola to the middle station and then the chairlift to the Hornberg. The winter hiking trail leads past the two mountain restaurants Hornberg and Hornflueh towards Gfell. On the Gfell you have a great 360° view of almost the entire destination. The trail continues via Lägerli to Gruben.

In the second part of the hike from Gruben to Gstaad, you are near the railway tracks. With a bit of luck you will see the GoldenPass panoramic train with its famous panorama cars gliding its way through the idyllic snow-covered landscape. Soon you catch sight of your destination and within a few minutes you reach the chalet village of Gstaad and its special landmark, the Gstaad Palace with its four striking towers.
